With flat film revenues and pressure from dvd’s/home theater, Cinema operators are looking to diversify their entertainment offering through alternative content. It is not uncommon these days to see sports, rock concerts and even opera on the big screen. While this programming in unique, it is still a linear (one-way) experience for the customer. TimePlay allows the Cinema the ability to offer large-scale interactive content to its customers; providing a rich experience for current patrons and opening up to new patrons who currently participate in interactive games. TimePlay’s cinema products can be used as a dedicated show in place of a movie or as a pre-show prior to a movie. DEDICATED SHOW: TimePlay takes over a screen and provides an interactive experience in lieu of a typical movie. Content is available to appeal to all demographics from game shows like Deal or No Deal to Kid’s birthday parties. Patrons pay an entry fee and top players receive prizing. PRE-SHOW: TimePlay transforms the movie pre-show into a completely new social experience where everyone in the audience actively participates. The interactive content allows the audience to compete against each other to top the leader board and win great prizes.
