Platform
TimePlay’s CineLynx platform allows hundreds of consumers to play interactive games together in the same venue. Players interact with content on screens using wireless handheld consoles, easy to use devices with intuitive touch-screen controls. Each player uses a wireless client, which communicates with a central server to run the game logic and multi-media aspects of the show. The server is controlled by an operator. The platform also allows locations to be networked so the audience can play games nationally. The system provides multiple layers of interactivity, including player to player and connects with online and mobile platforms, which enriches and extends the experience. The shows are controlled by a live host, who has his own operator console (OPCON) to choose games based on the demographic, create teams and showcase leader boards or even control venue sound and lighting. The host can also facilitate up-sells through the OPCON or pocket PC. The CineLynx system is the first of its kind and is fully patented, which also extends to our partners. The system is device agnostic and can utilize a multitude of as its handheld controller: from an ultra-mobile PC to a cell phone, Nintendo DS or Sony PSP. TimePlay’s Point-of-Sale system is unique to the platform as it provides the functionality of a traditional POS system while incorporating tools to provide optimal customer service, such as a loyalty/membership points system, up-sell capabilities, and customized options for the program operator. A full reporting system is included for post-game analysis, research and loyalty/database programs. |
